VHS Releasing

Are you an independent film looking to do a limited edition release on VHS? Are you looking for high quality slipcovers and full duplication services for your release? Then you have come to the right place.

Tapeworm Video now offers the highest quality slipcovers on 16-18pt heavy card stock. Each slipcover is hand cut, folded and coated with a light gloss finish that also helps to protect the print.

Tapes are recorded in SP mode in Hi-Fi Stereo.

Alternatively we also offer high quality black library cases. These are great for helping to protect the tape from dust and other things.

Must also provide all relevant logos for box. Must provide all artistic elements for boxes. Custom artwork will come with additional charges.

Tapeworm Video offers templates for both library cases and slipcovers, which will be provided as appropriate and/or needed.

NOTE: As of August 2022, a 25% deposit will be required before any production work begins. Thank you for your understanding.

NOTE: We strongly advise you order more tapes than you need. For instance, if you want 25 copies for your limited release, order 30. This way you can have extra copies in case one gets lost in the mail on its way to your customer.

Slipcover Releases

  • VHS Tapes with slipcover includes:
  • High quality slipcover, tape face and spine labels, Standard black T-120 VHS tape in SP mode. Films longer than 2 hours may require additional cost, contact for exact quote.

Library Case Releases

  • VHS Tapes with black library cases includes:
  • High quality printed case insert, tape face and spine labels, Standard black T-120 VHS tape in SP mode. Films longer than 2 hours may require additional cost, contact for exact quote..

Tape Face and Spine stickers are offered in full color gloss, or on silver metallic stickers.(higher cost for metallic)

Packages also include genre appropriate 3/4” color stickers. Examples: Be Kind Rewind sticker, .50 charge if not rewound sticker,etc. These will be loose so your customer can apply on their own, to the tape or anywhere else they like.

If you need tapes of shorter or longer than standard T-120 (2 Hour SP), or colored tape shells contact first for availability, as these items are not as easily stocked. Colored tape shells may require a significant up-charge! (subject to market availability and prices)
